It's time for me to go fast(ish kinda:redneck:), plus it's time for my pile of 'yota to be thrown away. This will be using a lot of recycled yota parts, or parts that are laying around from other piles that have been scrapped. My old man is also starting to become interested in wheeling, so I'll make some accomodations for an old not-so-skinny guy, so he can drive sometimes.

70-something(I forget) Chevy Luv, chopped 3":bling:
2x3 frame
Linked front, 14 or 16" coilovers
Deavers rear, possibly spring under
Shaved 14 bolt, Dana 60, 5.38 gears
Pissed off 350/th350/205
42" swampers
Hydro

The nice part is I'll still be able to wheel the **** out of the yota(when the ****'s not broken), until this thing is ready to go. Done before the new year:corn:

Got the frame rails cut/tacked today

cool plans, but are you tired of having a badass toyota with all that stupid room inside? Im a big guy and going from a 2nd gen yota to a luv cab seems backwards. I cant complain though, when I was your age I was stacking projects too. rarely ever got one done though, if I wouldve just concentrated on one, then the next..... ehhhh oh well. cool rigs you are building though for sure. :awesomework:

Im pretty sure he could fit in a narrowed Luv.

Luvs are cool tho. My first rig was a Chevy Luv.

Oh i love the LUV for sure. neighbor had a nice mikado 4x4 and used to take me wheeling when I was 10. :awesomework:

I think im officially becoming old. You know throwing out observations and advice where not wanted haha.:cheer:

I was the same way when I was your age, now I like to sit and work on the tedious stuff, I think it comes with age :redneck:

Lookin forward to another epic build

I'm learning to deal with it, slowly :redneck:

It isn't too cramped. The floor will be lower than normal

Is this the cab from the 1/4 mile Luv you guys had in the shop a few years back?

This thing is def. gonna be a cool build. I have a soft spot in my heart for tearing the guts out of a perfectly good LUV and changing every bit about it. :awesomework:

Keep working! :corn:
