Dual trannies in Toys

I don't see a need for that much gear selection. I have trouble with two t-cases.

First gear in most 4cly trans is either 3.93 or 3.95 so I would say its similar to having dual cases and a 4.0 gear set in one.

The time and effort on these gearing idea's should be spent elswhere IMHO. Like, Suspension (no, it's not right :; ) or spend your weekends just wheeling instead. Seat-time =

Dual Trannies?

SOunds good to a point. SOOO does that mean you need two clutches or plumb a hydro set up to do both, or is there a roulette in the making here?? on wether when you do push in the clutch for the #1 tranny that the gears are going to stop? or is that what you do...??? push in your clutch and wait..............................to shift #2??? ......LOL!! just kiddin

What if ya fawk up and bind the trans's and blow em up...Just go a v8 auto to atlas and 60's and beat it.

Well I dont want to pay that much.

And to aircrawlers question, as to my understanding of it you only need the one clutch and shift either one like you would regulary. :;

I think its about the cheap, not all of us have 20k to sink into a rig.:beer:

Holt sh!t thats long. What wheelbase does it require to have a good rear driveline angle? I think my old 22re/w56/dual case was 4 feet snout to output.
