some pictures from liberty and naches

thanks for the pictures DISS... maybe if you stopped practicing on the piano and started bending it would get done sooner also...hehe:stirpot: :haha:
If I was playing a piano, I would gaurentued be to drunk to measure within a foot tolerance, so bending tube would probably not be a good idea. Cage didn't get done yesturday though, and wont be today. Got metal in eye, so actually sitting in ER right now waiting to get this BS takin care of. Atleast I can get NWW on my phone while waiting.

Nice work :awesomework: ...by the way how's your rig coming along?

Its slowly coming along. I've got alot done since you were up at my shop last, but still have alot to go. Instead of working on my own rig I keep doing fab work for other people, but I guess that's what funds all my expensive hobbies.

cage looks good. what are some of the shortcuts your having to fix??

There were just several little things that needed attention due to already braking/having issues or were going to be a issue in the near future. biggest being the front frame/bumper. That badlands bumper is for the 84-85 truck so someone halfass cut up the winch plate to make it fit around the 90 body(which was taking away most of the bumpers support), then i didnt like the weld quality holding the bumper to frame. Frame was cracked and so were some of the welds there. Front hanger was cracking off frame also, so put on a marlin hanger. Then things like frt shock hoops, gearbox mount, ect.

yeah that whole front bumper was a mess, i moved away from all my wheeling buddies and lost alot of steam on the build including my access to a welder and a shop. the guys that bought it seemed like great people, glad to see you guys are doing all the thing's i wanted to to do it. cant wait to see the finished product!!! man i miss that thing. nice work guys!

Ya the guy that bought it was jerry, a good buddy of mine. I was trying to talk him into a cage after he bought it, but he never made the move. After the roll over i got a call seeing when i had a opening for another cage biuld. Besides doing the cage and fixing some of the previous fab work, im putting on some hydro assist and a winch. It should be a pretty stout rig when it leaves my shop.

any pics of the runner finished

Runner is on hold right now, havent worked on it since the pics. Now im doing a full cage on a sami. Waiting on a Jerry (owner of 4runner) to buy a windshield up bring it up to my shop. I need to get the windshield put in it before I can finilize the front of the cage. Hopefully will have it this week and so will be working on it this weekend.

Sounds like I should have a windshield tomorrow, so hopefully will get it wraped up this weekend. Sami cage is pretty much finished though. Just gotta add a few little things, and biult the seat brackets for the new seats.
