By all means I believe you guys have the abilitys to get there. Its just odd that theres no tracks or pics of rigs on top :eeek:

Thats looking down from where the trail cross's what used to be the top of the origional landslide (from back in like 93'). Is VERY steep in thru there and I would be shocked if anybody could go up to where the trail used to cross. The landslide is now probably
400 feet above that portion of the trail and took it out.

My club is running out there in June.

I seem to recall a thread and/or pictures regarding the main creek crossing getting torn up and impassible at the time of photos because 3-5' of riverbed was cut out.

What's the state of it now? (gotta ask because I will have stock height rigs with me.)

You can get across at the normal first crossing at the bottom!:awesomework:
I know for sure that rigs have been past this picture!:;

With a large group(including stockish rigs by your definition).....you'll be all day getting to the START of the river bed/boulders pictured above.Then the "BIG DOGS" in your group will stack/brawl/stack/smash and stack some more to get another 100 feet till they stop and think the better of it.The trail below the start of the boulders is plenty long for a big group and provides good challenges for a typical club.

PLEASE UNSTACK when your done

Thanks, it was the May Creek crossing I was wondering most about.

It's just a day run and I make it a point to run out to the Wall first for lunch so I doubt I'de get the group that far up Isabelle before it was time to start turning around.

The picture looking down the slope isn't where he drove up though. That's why there arn't any tread marks. The CARNAGE is very obvious down lower. LOL Chunks of rocks being beaten out of boulders from heavy frame on rock action !!!

The main road switchbacks (the pic with the buggy) but the wash out goes straight through. It's probably a 50* angle and very difficult to hike let alone drive the very last part of the washout.

So the gist is he drove up the road to the top and took a pick looking down the washout.

However the lower part is pretty gnarly. It's taken this long to clear the trees and get people with enough ambition to actually make it.

How much cable did you guys have to pull to make it up??

I'm gunna have to drive up there and see the progression of the trail again. :eeek:
