I was sitting in my garage the other day having a cold one and was staring at my truck. I noticed that the passenger side looked lower so I go out a tape and took a measurement and sure enough both front and rear were both just over a inch lower than the driver's side. If all the springs were put on at the same time what would cause this?

Leaf springs? torque sag. springs are bent. if its coils, time to kick the fat chicks out:fawkdancesmiley:

X3 definitely a fat chicks problem. :haha:

Try riding shotgun for a while and have her drive, see if it levels back out. :redneck:

**** she ain't that big spring have a nice curve to them and the guy said the lift is not to old. He actually never said how long it had been on and it is an 84 runner so they are all leaves..

I know they will eventually wear out but it is just odd that both front and rear on the passenger's side are lower..I don't really care.

What kinda rig you got? On solid axle toys, the driver's side perch on the front axle sits lower than the passenger side perch. What kinda front springs you runnin'?

:hi:

If the right side is sitting low in the front, it will make the rear sit low on the same side.....

I've got this same problem, which I know is from the front springs, and it makes the whole rig lean. :awesomework:

It's scientifically formulated spring rate, so when I'm in the rig it sits level. :redneck:

Well. refer to post number two. and post number 7.

Me and bunk have your issue solved. Leaves are a wear item. cheap, and often broken.

Your pass. springs are bent, or have been bent. The previous issue causes loss of spring rate and ride height.

Leaf springs suck

Thats why i have them all the way around on my rig. :D

Anyone can prevent leafs from neg arch:cool: if you have your bump stops were they need to be. The problem is we you get mean with it the center pins just shear. I don't care how tight the U-bolts are. I have sheared so many on my old toy.:rb: All-pro offroad sells a spring plate that levels out the front. It comes with all their springs. Give them a call.

Don't worry about it unless the leafs are broken or kinked... if you plan to wheel it often you'll pretty much always have this issue. Might even switch which side is low.

Has anyone ever realized that the gas tank is on the passenger side of a Toyota under the bed? That is a lot of weight on the right side of the truck when full. Try new springs and a different gas tank that mounts in the center of the trunk.

A full tank of gas would be around 100 lbs. Not significant enough to matter. Gasoline weighs about 6.175 lbs/gallon.
