My knee is still jacked up from surgery, so I rode bitch in my friends green TJ.
Truchhaven is on the west side of the Salton Sea (SoCal Desert)
We droped into a nice notch about 300 or so ft long with a very tough "Z" turn right in the middle. The first 2 pics are of the notch with the gatekeeper on the right.(floped yota)

Sadly, we had a rig muti-roll on teh way back to camp. Charlie (11) crushed his finger under the cage, but he was alright after a bit.

Damn that looks like some good wheeling

We were to the right and behind the small hump in the middle of this pic.(taken looking north west) The open wheeling streches like this for about 30 miles south to Ocotillo Wells.

I have always wanted to wheel in that area. The only problem is its a long pull from here. There is a huge event there every year cant remember the name of it. I think that is when I would go.

When I get a better tow rig I am GOING to haul my **** down there to play.

My in-laws have a Rubicon, and live in El Cajon, and own property out by Ocotillo Wells. I really want to go wheelin' down there w/ them! They aren't into too hard core stuff, but they go out and "play" alot..

Sweet!! Bring it!!
El Cajon is about 5 miles from me..And I got a perm spot in OWells too. Truckhaven is 30 minutes from OWells. Even if you make it down w/o your rig, I'll make it out with my rig to play some.

So, did anyone rescue the Yoda from the flop?

Nice wheeling there. Looks like there was plenty of scrapes on the rigs as well.

Good to hear Charley is okay.

Yeah, but he bailed (got winched) out of the notch after that.

The black Bronco bent EVERY panel on it including the hood.:D
