I am real happy with my Howe kit. It turns 54" 350lbs tires/wheels like they are little stock ones.

you have never wheeled it on 54s bud. have you ever even wheeled it with hydro? Or are you refering to driveway flexing?

Howe can you give fair advice on a product you dont use?:corn:

Please keep your opinions of a personal nature to yourself..

I have used the PSC stuff a few times now and been happy...

Why do you reply to threads and add no info? You are like a spammer of useless BS. Your Chev is a giant POS too. You should be banned. :looser:

Corey--responding isn't going to help the matter but make it worse when I have already spoken and taken care of it...

Here we go..Im an american in the manufacturing industry. Theres a reason PSC moved soo close to a certain border. So for that simple fact i wont go thru them.

Ive been very happy with my performance offroad systems set-up. Sean the owner is going thru some tough times so getting ahold of him may take some time(working 2 jobs) and im sure the lead time will be a bit longer.

I recently got a full howe kit thru ballistic fab for a project im working on. Extremely high quality in all of the components, However the ram shaft is a bit small compared to my POS ram. IMO howe would be the way to go.

I figured there were far more folks here that have Hydro steering experience than you and me so I held back my experience.

I have had hydro steering on my orange chev for 4 years. It is a Charlynn orbital off of a forklift and a 8x2 ram. works great with a stock chevy pump.

I just installed a trail gear setup on Rod's truck a few weeks ago. Alot of folks tried to catch him at elbe last weekend, it worked great too. Even drove it down to the store to get more gas, it drove well on the road too.

Whether my trucks or builds are not up to your standards corey is irrelevant, they get wheeled way more than the "perfect jobs" comin out of you doors.

Instead of me saying something worthless, I was just letting him know your advice dont have much seat time behind it.

Theres my tech contribution.:awesomework:

I run PSC on mine 3"ram on front 2.5" on rear been very happy with it....I would suggest going a little bigger than you think you need..... as My front is good with the 3" but the rear is a bit weak with the 2.5" just my opinion

Im running the complete PSC kit on my rig and it works good. The people at PSC always answer the phone and handle any issues I have had immediately great customer service. I know Sean at POS has good customer service also he wheels with a group of my friends back east and seems cool when i talk to him.

Did you order this as a complete kit? What kind of Howe pump are you using? P-pump or TC pump or something else? Glad to hear you got good steering with 54's:awesomework:

I got most of the parts from Howe. I made all the mounts and had Williams Oil Filter Supply by the Tacoma Dome make all my hoses. The pump is a P-pump with a factory can which keeps it a little cooler and adds capacity. I used a single ended ram because they are easier to mount.

what works best and waht fits your budget are 2 different things... there is a "value" factor in each system. Some guys build their own. is it as strong? sometimes yes sometimes no. some are unreliable some are fine. I have used AG ram with stock pumps and charlynn orbitol to full psc systems or Howe. all have their good and bad points. I prefer PSC since their customer service was great vs other companys that would not give any help when their system had issues. any system you do will far surpass any steeringbox setup (excluding ram assist). do a little research... find out some orbitol part #'s that give you the flow reates you want that will match the pump your using and get an ag ram....I figured it out before all these systems where available for purchase as a kit. No reason you can't as well.

Anymore the kits from PSC, Howe or the like are a great way to go. It is hard to find some place that will sell you an orbital at a cheaper price then these companies are selling them.

One of the biggest failures I have seen is the TC style pumps blowing the shaft seal or flat burning up. Most of these failures where on rigs running high RPM's. I prefer PSC because I have spoken to them more often and know they take care of there customers. I am sure Howe is the same so it boils down to personal preference.

Your pump will be much happier if you ditch that 90 and go to a larger line. If that is a filter at the bottum of the res. you might as well toss that too.
