XXX Rootbeer Jeep/4x4 show'n'shine April 18th

I know this isn't the normal type of event that gets posted here, but thought this could be fun. I plan on attending.

Sounds cool, put it on my calendar. I enjoy thier car shows, hopefully this is as good.

Too bad they are advertising it as a "Jeep" event. Sure they say other 4x4's are allowed but its a Jeep event.

Who's putting it on? The XXX is just the venue. The "for more information" e-mail is very non specific.... almost looks like an event planner/group, not a club.

Yeah, even the emails have not been very specific. I asked whoever I've been emailing with, just out of curiosity.

I got an email back from the guy. Just says he's an individual, has attended many car shows at XXX before, and owns a Jeep. He thought it'd be fun to plan something like this. I'm posting this on the boards I'm on and think it would be fun to get a large turnout.

The calendar says first annual. So I would say ZERO rigs attended last year. :redneck:

Very cool that he's putting it on. While I still know there there are TONS of Jeeps out there still, but if you don't count the cherocars I'm not entirely sure if they are the predominant off-road vehicle and more. Maybe you could respond to him that he should advertised it as a "4x4", or 4wd" or "Jeep and 4x4" show, just to to seem so singled out.

Still cool however, if it fits into the rest on my life plans I might just have to swing by.

The jeep isnt in wheeling shape but im sure i could drag it out for a show, i may attend this havent decided yet

i was talking to a guy at one of the Seahawk's games last year. he works there and told me then they were planning something like this. at that time he didn't have a date or particulars but sounds like it's being run through the diner..

hmm... I've been to several HUGE car shows out there but never a offroad one. Could be cool if lots of people show up.

During an event trailer parking will suck. But generally they have parking available at some of the near by businesses since they are closed. If that is full and you don

Thats the only thing im really worried about cause i sure as hell aint driving it there it only goes like 40 mph hahahahaha

If need be i could park at your place and drive it over and back its not too far to drive the little willys
