I just got back from a baja race in powell wyoming and i thought i would post up some info and pics soon to come. The race was outide Powell Wyoming and was put on by the powell 4 wheelers club on land they own. It was a 20 lap race and consisted of fast baja terrain and tight corners. My buddy Jason Paule and I took our buggies and raced in the unlimited class with a couple of other buggies and a race truck. I was in the lead till lap 12 i think when i came in with to much speed and blew the berm and rolled landing on my drivers side. Some pit crew people ran over and righted me but i had bent my steering stem and broke my vizor on my helmet that was causing my helmet to kick back when we hit any speed. So after a quick pit we took off again and i got passed on the last lap right before the couple last corners. My 200hp v6 had a hard time keeping infront of Jasons 450hp v8.
I wanted to let everyone know that there is a race in september in columbus mt on private land. And we are working with them to build a rock section in a old quarry to make a mini koh style race around 80 miles long. If your interested let me know! Garrett
