This is my land cruiser.

I got it from TLCruiser66 on the board here. He stored it safely indoors for me for many years.

I am its first American owner. Its was a Canadian rig before then. Never registered in the US until now.

Please feel free to watch as I remove more and more metal from it.

I started by removing the rear axle and springs.

It is going to get a ford 9 inch rear with 4.88s on a spool with chromo 31spline Yukon shafts. Going to be bolted to waggy rear springs and Rancho RS9000s.

Hope to keep this rig light and low.

Then I tossed in the rear ford axle and waggys for some reference. It sits nice and low. Perfect.:awesomework:

Tires are gonna be a set of 36x13 iroks and a set of 33 inch paddles.

Also removed the cage and broke into pieces by hand so it could never be used again.:eeek:

I always wanted a FJ45 to cut up so but Im way too cheap to pay for a 45.

Then I sit it on for some fitting.

I think Im gonna use these ol FJ40 amberlamps doors to make the rear cab panel and back windows.

Anyone have any more ambulance/barn doors or just the windows?

Got the corners all welded top to bottom.

Now to start prepping the rear doors for some fitting and tacking.

I seen a FJ-45 while I was in BC this summer, some old guy drivin it like it was nothin. Diesel an everything. I couldn't even say anything, I was too enthralled.

So it has some rear doors welded in and the side seams welded up too. Going to bed, Im beat. Pics tomorow.

Nope. Just want the dual windows. Plus I got them for free cuz someone tried to weld them up at some point and it looked like millions of bbs glued to the edges of the doors. I have a pic of them.

I bought it from Kevin, he brought it in and never transfered it. We went to the DMV and it took an hour for them to do it all.

Well you know how it goes. After the ol lady goes to bed. Its not doing too bad considering we didint touch it till it got on the lift thursday night. Not too bad for two days so far. Thanks for all the help Justin.:awesomework:
