elbe

right on ....know how much snow they have? looking to do a little snow wheelin

hardly any at elbe. Copper Creek should have a fresh blanket tho. Its just a little further up the road.

This is Elbe last weekend.

If you want to camp at the shelter, yeah. Plenty of places to camp in the hills up there though that are more private and quieter (at least till around 8am, that's when the loud trucks with no particular place to go will start buzzing the roads) If you want snow wheelin' like Brad says, you'll have to head out the other side of Ashford and head up Copper.
 
There is about 12" and it is still snowing :awesomework:

If you have a truck and trailer bring chains or park the tow rig down low.

It's gonna be icy as fawk this weekend. You'll run into conditions like we did on New Years weekend. Don't even attempt the climb, park the tow rigs at the bottom. :awesomework:
 
The Lions club does not like trucks and trailers in their parking lot because they have events in the building. If you cant make it up the hill you have to park on the side of the road.

There was an easier entrance but the road was closed when a coulvert was removed for non-existant fish. :rolleyes:
