... so I have a Croquet set...

the plastic gates were all shitty and broken

All of the ones I could find to buy were either plastic, or were like coathanger ****... and cost a small fortune

So I went to the steel shop, got a 20' stick of 1/2" x 1/8" steel .. cost $6 bucks

Yesterday, it took a couple hours, and I have bad ass croquet **** now

Needs more triangulation. :redneck:

I made some tent stakes here at work last year. I used some 1/2" round bar cut at 12". Then I welded some flat washers about a 1/2" down from the end. Best damn stakes I have ever used. Rocks? No worries. :haha:

... that is some good tech right there!

The real tech question is how did you move a stick of 1/2" x 1/8" x 20' without bending it?

Well, I had the steel shop cut it into 2 10' sections, then I stuck them in the CRV and hauled them home... then the sat on my carport for about 2 weeks, then I threw them in the back of the truck and hauled them to the shop... :D

Too anti clamatic. <yaaawner>...:redneck:

But those were not cool.

Now it would have been cool if you had made some custom mallets :redneck:

I bet you can't :cheer:
