I like steep roofs :redneck: easy on the back (no bending) just have to use toeboards. Of course you cant stock the roof as easy and it means more packing of material :booo:

I've been using my dads nail gun for the framing, and sheathing, and one of my neighbors said he has a roofing nailer he will let me use when I get to that point.

The city is making me put those in for extra strength. I could have went without them, but I would have to pay someone for engineering. At first I was tempted to break them out later, but I think I'm going to keep them. Most of my tools, and benches are going to be back there anyway, so I'll try to incorperate the walls to work for me.

looks good, i like to keep my tool boxs and work bench out at the door so you dont have to stumble past your rigs and other **** when you are working on something outside and when grinding it is easier to sweep up and out the door rather then all that crap ending up all over in the back corner of the shop.:hi:

Good points.. I like working outside sometimes too. Especially on nice summer nights. I've got a 8x7 door in the back on the side where most of the cutting, grinding, and drilling will be done, so between that, and a squirrel cage, or two, hopefully ventelation will be good, and clean-up easy. I'm going to make a real effort not to let the floor get cluttered like my old garage was. Organization is key. --Can't wait...

Ahh i see, didnt see door in back. my shop has the three front bay doors and on the side I have another 9ft. Door, which is the door mostly open, cuz then noone can see in my shop from the road. At that door I have my vise mounted on a bench right next to the door along the wall, and my tool boxes in the corner by the bench, and then a big vice on a semi brake drum out side for working on grinding and no clean up.by the way I didnt realize who you were till recently. I hang with the dude in the big black exoed yota, used to see you all over in your little black jeep.:hi:

Right on.. Yea, I think you're talking about Big Dave, a.k.a. Ben Convicted. I wheel with him alot. Just haven't been wheelin' since I started this garage. It sucks not wheelin', but I just need to finish this thing before I do anything else. I'm funny like that. I remember a while back I mentioned to Big Dave the possibility of hitting up Walker with Mark M, and I think you were supposed to be there as well, and he told me he wheels with you guys too. I just ended up working on my garage instead.
Oh well I'll definetally wheel with you guys someday.:awesomework:

Just about done. Just need to get the final electrical inspection, and to build benches, and shelves, and get organized. The kid is already taking over with his dirtbike, and race mower project.:redneck:
