Hi All:

Was down at the Elbe Hills DNR ORV area last Thursday and Friday 'wheeling and camping.

Came across this trail "improvement" :redneck: project along the Gotcha Trail.

Promises to be pretty gnarly! :awesomework:

Regards,

Alan

Drove that on Saturday. Had never been on Gotcha before but that part was pretty fun. Going to be interesting with how deep it is once we get some rain!

Here are a few pics of Traildemon and I there.

I know we all had a lot of fun that weekend, we packed all our gear in the wheelers and camped at the log crawl so we didn't have to walk the mini in and out every day. Kind of a different experience than the usual.

Special thanks to Anthony for the skillz on the excavator, wouldn't be the same w/o him.

A big :awesomework: to Jaws for organizing the whole thing.

Also, thanks to Nancy for allowing us to create fun obstacles like this.

That was a fun weekend for sure. Kinda different not being in the camp ground. Pretty cool though and took me back to the beginning. Used to always camp out of the rig. It is a little tough to get a weekends worth of gear into a buggy though. I wish I would have taken a picture of all the gear stacked up and sticking out of my rig. Not to mention the needed tools for a work party.:eeek: Definitively wasn't screaming through the woods at my normal pace.

We are very lucky to have a DNR rep that works with us the way Nancy does.:awesomework:

Anthony runs that machine like it is part of him. We definitely would not have got anywhere near as much done if he did not donate his time to our hair-brained project.:awesomework::cheer:

You guys are doing a great job at elbe and very lucky to be able to do the improvments that you are. Keep up the good work and can't wait to come back.
