Just unboxed my dualcases purchased from Trailgear while turning the input shaft by hand I noticed the gear rubs slightly on the inside of the front case. When I bolt up the transmission will it push this gear in slightly or do u think they screwed uo building them? Pic of gear with shavings from case.

You bought them already built? If so, I would definitely call and talk to them.

Don't install or they may say you screwed it up. Call them and get the guys name and only install if they say try it.

Personally I wouldn't install it. Especially if it was preassembled for you. Have them send a call tag and ship it back so it can be fixed and or replaced.

Thats normal since without the adapter bolted to anything the input can walk forward and the gear can hit the case.

Push the input shaft in and I bet it doesn't rub. So when its bolted to the tranny holds it back.
