I have used a Novak adapter before,seemed like great quality and never had an issue. Buying an adapter that has a 3 position clocking ring build in is worth the money.

With your wheelbase I would think it wouldn't hurt. Novak like many others makes good stuff.Thats my second choice. And the more I think about it the more I could probably benefit from a little more length of the adapter for trans clearance .
Richard makes sweet, 1 piece shafts that use 1350 or 1410 joints. He made mine, and for a buddies buggy. (Small diameter shafts)
