Yum... Tacos

Jason dropped off the new 37" tires/wheels. I started and ran the motor to bleed the powersteering of air and it was time to put the front tires on. Some sheetmetal will be lost soon :redneck:

Looks awesome. Is some kind of cover or small box going to go on that compressor? Is it going to get beat up by stuff sliding around in the box?

And to think my rig had a Rachel strap holding one of the front springs in. Very nice work Mike, makes me jealous.:awesomework:

Time to get some wiring done. Figured since I was this deep I would pull the cluster and remove the annoying Abs lamp bulb...

So I got the dash portion of the arb (pump switch) done. I pulled voltage from the 4x4 fuse since with the front diff actuation system now removed the circuit can handle the load easily--plus keeps it clean.

Finally got the rear 8.4 and thanks to our vender here nitro gear. It was perfect as Carl was coming over from the east side and was able to meet up with him and grab it.

Now for the front bumper. Working alone ya gotta get creative :D

I don't recall if the early arb bumpers had the mounts on the bumper itself unbolt. But was able to remove them to get the bumper eyed into place.

So next I made plates then bolt to the cross member. Next I will be lopping off the mounts that bolt to the bumper and then those will be burned onto the plates so the bumper is still easily removable. I may have to add some cross supports inside the bumper to add some support--will have to see once its in place.

I wish I would have snapped a before picture of the mounts. But I was able to carefully cut out a notch so to speak of the mounts.
