This is going to be a first for me, my shop, and all of my friends. We are a tight knit group of guys in Kentucky who have a shop. We call ourselves "Black Booger Boys" because of the welding and fabrication that goes on there and we all leave the shop with...........lol Black Boogers! BBB is our sign. We hope to build a buggy for the TTC in 2012. As for myself? I am a disabled veteran and soon to be retired postal employee because of my injuries. This buggy will mean a lot to me because thru all the surgeries and rehab it has kept me focused and dreaming. So bear with me. I hope I haven't bored you with this. It will not be a fast build but it will be the biggest project our shop has ever done. Thanks :driving:

Isn't TTC 2012 a "Champion's Cup" event? (meaning for all the past winners.)

Great start, any pictures of previous rigs BBB? :dunno:

Re: Build thread TTC Hopeful Rockwell buggy 2012

Here are some pics of my previous rig. Just a simple 4 runner with a doubler. Ran great, but I wanted to go another direction. The last pic was the last day I owned it and it was moving on. The new direction of this build is going to be MUCH different! Big block, rockwells and 54 inch tires! I'll post some more pics of my progress soon. Thanks for the support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Build thread TTC Hopeful Rockwell buggy 2012

It all started with the tires! 54 inch Michelins that a friend of mine bought but he decided not to build a rig. So it made me want to build a bigger buggy!! ;D This is the very first step in this process, I am much further ahead right now, and have been delayed in posting these pics. I promise I will catch everyone up to speed soon!
