Open ride WE Rock Aetna Lease Jan. 28th FREE

Ok I've been all over Aetna Mtn, been riding there frequently for the last 3 or 4 years...but I've never been to the lease property/entrance. I don't even know how to get to it from the trails if I were already on Aetna riding around, or loaded up heading up there in my tow rig. Somebody give me the easiest way to find it... is the physical address good for gps purposes? If so, that'll be no problem....if not, I'm gonna need some good directions! We will be headed up I-59 North from Ft. Payne, AL. :driving:

take i-24 east to the wildwood ga exit. 168 i think. hwy 299. turn left, cross the tenn state line, turn right on whiteside loop road then right again onto pulltight rd. takes right in the gate.

I got the physical address too, just for gps sake lol. Thanks aetnarearsteer!

Ya'll think there will be sufficient parking for everyone? I've heard from ppl that have been there before and know what the parking accomodations look like, say that it'll prolly be slam packed and fill up in a hurry.

Thanks to all who are spreading the word and signing the petition. If you havent, please take the time and sign it. This could be our last chance to save Aetna Mtn from public closure forever. At the rate off-road riding areas (both public and private) are closing, eventually there won't be anywhere left for us to ride. Please help us take a stand and fight for our cause. Thanks

So,

Does anyone have REAL info as to which office/who in TWRA this originated from?

AND where are these petitions/letters being delivered to?

The only thing i've seen is people claiming "this is legit" "not a rumor".

And after reading the news story on the issue, it seems that this pre-emptive petition might be just what we need to help work WITH TWRA to keep the area open.

Had a kickass time tho!!! I only saw one of those TWRA signs that said no motorized vehicles allowed....ironicly it was stapled to a tree in the creek bed leading to that bigass hill all the buggies played on all day (can't ever remember which one is Balls Hill and which one is Horsepower Hill) which was filled with like 200 motorized vehicles hahahaha PHUCK TWRA! :drinkers:

That's the most I've ever seen there. Here's a shot of PB and one of my door. Used a tree to pivot but it still opens and closes so I'm good. Killed a u joint and the u bolts that hold it on the rear 60 but that was an easy fix. Last pic is one of our little group.
