2. Bill Snyder is the NCAA Coach of the Year and Collin Klein should be in a two-man race with Notre Dame's Manti Te'o for the Heisman Trophy.

It's difficult to appreciate just how good of a coach Snyder is. He is as good as any coach in football on any level. Snyder is as good as Lombardi, Belichick, Bear Bryant, Saban, Noll and Brady Hoke. (Eat it, Ohio Buckeyes and Urban Meyer.)

I don't have any doubt that Snyder could win at the highest level in the NFL, at Alabama, Michigan, Florida, LSU and Ohio. I'm not sure Lombardi, Belichick, Bryant, Saban, Noll and Meyer could win consistently at Kansas State. (Hoke could win anywhere they lace 'em up.)

As for Klein, he's not a pro player. That's fine. But he and Te'o are the two most important players in college football.

Can Iowa borrow Snyder for a few seasons? You can have Ferentz and make him disappear. Tired of that overpaid clown. Makes more than title winning coaches and has marginal seasons above 500. I could keep going but I know how Hardline hates thread derails :flipoff1:

Dawg fan here... Great win for us yesterday, ugly on both sides but our "D" finally stepped up. There is no one in the college football world that can play with bama right now. It would take a NFL team for bama to get a loss. The coaching and talent gap is so wide between bama and who ever they play with no disrepsect to K-state ( I respect what they have done too) and the rest of the college football world its crazy. If bama keeps this track which I don't see any indication why they wouldn't we may be talking about this being the best college team of all time.. When you listen to Saban, he coach's this team to set standards way above whoever they are playing that week. This bama team has its own standards..
