Can mud racers be converted to rock bouncers?

I guess I dont get it. You just run through a mud hole and thats it. Seems boring to me IMOP.

So does drag racing until you do it, and get the rush and buzz. Never drove in a mud drag but went to a few, what a blast.

Most are a roll chassis with a body, might not last long on Rocks, but what a show it'd be!

I'd take one of the "mega trucks" madram and BK have posted videos of over these mud trucks. Blasting through the mud and huge air seems like a winning combo.

I think most of the mud guys up here could make some of those hills you guys climb, the question isn't the hill, but if they'd hold together? :dunno:

I'm trying to get a few to come down there to see what it is all about.

these shown i'm sure are very well built rigs and are WAY cool, but mud racers as a whole are notorious for being thrown together pieces.. with suspensions that dont work at all.... the top shelf trucks like those in the vid might make it but the lower class ones and some of the horseshoe track trucks would be in pieces pretty quick

Yes a mud truck can be converted to play on rocks. I think the 2 biggest things are cooling and axles. A lot of them have small radiators and half ton axles.

come on john....half those guys are running dana 44's still for a front axle. they are badass rigs, but for mud only.you guys have been trying to get jason to run his for how many years now.wont happen!

That early model toyota and the purple "ranger"? Unbelievable! Bring em to the hills. You would certainly entertain the rednecks and they'd make some great madram videos!! Don't think the fiberglass would last long though. Cool stuff guy.

Hows Ronnie doing haven't seen him in a couple years,seen him last at Grayrock in his jeep.We used to race with him years ago in Ky and middle TN ,we ran a mudracer called Bad Dreams.Back then him and ol Carl in the Mtn Made racer were the two to beat.
