My 90 dodge has a 727 318 np241 40 and 4.10s. Its kinda of a turd even in the low side feels very sluggish. Almost a slipping feeling. Can I adjust my line pressure to help this out any

with your current drivetrain imo you would benefit most with lower gears. i have same drivetrain in my ramcharger with the exception of a 360 and saw a huge difference when i went to 5.13s. as far as line pressure i think you will see different shift points instead of less slip. i played with mine when my 727 started slipping thinking it was misadjusted and it never really helped.

ok thank you. I wasnt for sure. I see alot of the diesel guys do it. I guess just for better shifts. Yea I def need to regear.

That 318 was only 175hp when it was new, same as mine. I did notice a slight power gain when I replaced the clutch fan with electric fans but the big gain came from gettin rid of weight. As far as the transmission goes, by the time you feel the clutch pack slipping its already too late.

Here's the pics you asked for. Not pretty but it works till I get propane.
