No name for the buggy yet. Had thought of going with Black Sunshine but it really is not sticking yet. Just going to have to let it develop on it own.
I have been collecting parts for a while and am still a couple of weeks away from being able to getting any real progress on the build but figured i would get a jump on the hard part and start the build thread.

Specs for the buggy: M&M Offroad chassis #19 (four seater). LQ9/4L80E/241 box 4 rocks/205. Riding on 42" Pit bulls wrapped around recentered H1's. Rig will be supported by 14" ORI's. Front axle is a 79 Ford Dana 60 with detroit, full chromo, CTM's, Thick Chick Slugs, Solid knuckles, PSC full hydro. Rear axle is 14 bolt with disc brakes and detroit. Rear will be double triangulated 4 link and front will likely be an inverted single triangulated 4 link. Seats are PRP competition with booty warmers cause I am sensitve. Skid is 3/8 aluminum with .5 inch UHDPE. Rod ends are 1.25 QA1's. There are a few things that i still need to decide, like whether to buy aluminum links or build my own again, what radiator, and fuel system to go with. For the most part this buggy is pretty much like alot of buggy's out there.

Some pics to satisfy those that have short attention spans.

I know, I know. Chomping at the bit, life seems to get in the way too often, must have my priorities all jacked up. We have about 10 buggies being built around the G,ville and Jacksonville area right now. Need to plan a ride so everyone has a goal to finish by.

It is not much progress but it is something. Moved the chassis from the corner of the garage to the center of my workspace. Currently have the chassis sitting at full bump with 18 inches to the belly at a 117 wheel base. Ride height will be 6 inches higher than she is now which will give me a 24" belly and 78 inch roof line. Wheel base may move around a little when I start working with the link calculator. I am going to build a rolling support cart to hold the chassis until it is a roller and use leveling bolts to level it out so I can roll it around the garage as needed. I am out of town next weekend but should be able to get moving on it on a regular basis soon.

Made some progress finally and got the drivetrain mocked up in the chassis. Waiting on some block hugger headers to start fabricating the motor mounts and such. Wheelbase looks like it will remain at 117. The intake will be flipped to put the filter in cab behind the firewall. If work and life would get out of the way I could get something done on this. I sure do miss the days of being able to spend all weekend wrenching and fabricating.

So everything started out great and then I hit that small problem of time or rather not enough of it. I have finally gotten back into this and hope to make some real progress over the next two weeks. Worked on the 14 bolt shave today. I will get some overall pictures of the buggy posted up tomorrow.

Managed to get some work done on the buggy for a change. my die for the tubing roller also came in so I can finish the bars around the wheels and make it a roller. Plenty to do still though.

Not much of an update but I was able to get most of the exterior tube together before I had to go back to work. Also finished the bottom plate for the fuelcell mount. Ran into a bit of an issue fitting in the radiator. Not sure what the solution is going to be there.

Thanks Brian ,I will keep them in mind. I am hoping that I can get away with just modifying this one. It fits in general, just not the way I want it too exactly.

Looking Good Glen! I know ya got more done than this though...... Post em up bud!

So, I have not done a very good job keeping this updated. Lot of life crap in the way I guess.

I have been working on it slowly but surely though. Getting to the point that I am thinking I may actually finish it one day.

I need to get some better pics.

Thanks B-Man, I don't really but I appreciate the thought.

1TonZR2 I am definitely ready to finish and get out on the trails again. Looks like you have been making some progress on yours.
