Im working on figuring out what exactly I should be running for coilover lengths on a bouncer type buggy. I was thinking while building it that 16s in the front and 18s in the rear. But after talking to some people I'm thinking I should run 14s and 16s? I have 16s all the way around right now but have been told that I should be running over 5" of up travel. With the 16s all the way around right now I'm running 5" up in the front just over 7" in the rear to keep it sitting level. Just over 70" to the top of the cage with just over 25"s of belly height.

I bought 16s for my build because they are popular and I figured they would work for my build. Guys that race use 14s and have more wheel travel than I will ever have. It's all about how you set up your rig. Also, it's a pain in the ass and pointless for 16s 90% of the time.

I'd definately set it up with more uptravel in the front. I have 7" up front and 9" out back currently. Can you lower the mounting point on the axle to gain more up travel while maintaining your current ride height?

Im running 18s with my truggy to get the ride hidth i wanted with 9 in up front and back. I can park a tire on a 5 ft bail of hay with the other 3 still on the ground i know the pic dont show it all the way up there

Alright thanks for all the input guys, I could probably rework my mounting a little bit I doubt I'll gain much, I'm not really building it to "crawl" more hill climbing etc.
