Air shock pressure gauge

I've finally got the air shocks put on my junk and now that I've got nitrogen in them I don't really know how much air pressure is in them. Maybe it don't matter as long as I got the right ride height :dunno:

All I know is kinda what the regulator is saying.

I had a tire pressure gauge that would read like 160 or 180 but my buddy thought it would read so now I don't have that anymore it instantly shitwreaked that thing :wtflol:

You can get a ballpark measurement by looking at the regulated pressure on your gauge.
Fully extend the shocks, release N2 pressure in both shocks, back out regulator to low pressure, connect to the first shock and begin turning up the regulator to say 200 psi. Remove chuck from the first shock and then fill the second shock.
Lower chassis onto the shocks and check ride height, bump up pressure at regulator a little at a time and recheck to get ride height.

Clear as mud huh?

Yes sir that's pretty much what I had to do at this time but I'm deffinetly getting on of those pressure gauges.

I just picked up another 0-300 psi gauge from the welding shop and put it on my "assembly".

I have a hose between the ballvalve/guage/tank and the No-Loss chuck, that way I don't have to have that big assembly hanging off the shock.

I've noticed that the regulator gauges arnt very accurate , I made a gauge out of a 200psi gauge , just put and air chuck on it, works ok, loose about 5psi each time I ck it from pushing the gauge on and off

i did mine just like tbitoy. regulator to ball valve to 500psi guage, to no loss chuck. i can check pressure then crack the valve to adjust it

ive got around 500 psi in my 16" 2.0.

And to further clarify what you are saying, 500 psi is the maximum for air shocks. Most coilovers only need about 200 psi. Same with bypasses. So unless somebody has air shocks and plan on running them to the absolute maximum pressure, there is no reason to have a set up that goes past 250psi or so.
