Trip to Harlan.

Got some friends wheelin' in Harlan this weekend :****:....So slick that they're having to winch some spots on the main trail!! :driving:
Personally I think they were nuts for going ::)
Here's one pic from today...

Is getting to most of the good trails about the same distance from either side you stay at?

Re: Trip to Harlan.

More stuff closer to the Evarts side

Cream Puff, Railbed, Waterfall, lower rock garden, Little Jaggar to name a few are less than 5 minutes from the Evarts trailhead. From Putney side they are a solid 45 minute ride. Putney trailhead is on the opposite side of the mountain that the main obsticals are on.

here is the trail map. save as then you can zoom in. You can get an idea of the distance from trailheads to main obstacles. Putney trail head is located on the upper right side of map.... evarts is lower right side

Thanks

I would love to go in the winter with snow on the ground. Would probably take the tracker and leave the open cab jeep at home. Would be a fun ass trip to take some friends on and get one of those big cabins with a hot tub.

Is anybody having trouble getting on their website? Whenever I try it sends me to online pharmacy

I've been having trouble getting ahold if someone at the black mountain cabins behind chevron on everts side, I've tried calling both numbers on their site, and even emailed and still no response. anyone knw how to get ahold of them? thanks

There is enough room to accommodate a 32' gooseneck in multiple spots. It's a little tricky though. It's worth it though. Mike is the man.
