I am in the process of building a buggy. I want it to have a very low stance, like Jenny Craig/Moon Rover low. I am running tons and it will have 44's. I am thinking 110-112 wheelbase with a 20'' belly and a 65-70'' roof height. I have all the parts gathered, and the steel sitting on my shop floor. I am ready to cut some frame rails right now, they are 2x4 .188 wall rectangular tubing. My question is how much up kick should I put into the frame? The measurement from bottom frame rail to bottom of the front frame rail is what I am thinking. I cut some templates and I am thinking around 12" up kick. How much up kick are most of the low slung, 1 ton rigs running. Pics would help a lot too. Thanks guys.
