Ballistic shave kits on Dana 60's

Here in the shop we are getting a jump on a future Tacoma build up. We have prepped a front and a rear Dana 60 to accept the Ballistic Fabrication shave kit and they are ready to be tig welded.

You can use 309 tig wire to weld cast, it works good!

It is a high pinion.

How well did the Ballistics shave fit it,,, i know they are made for Low Pinions-- did you have any extra work in it ?

Does that piece of plate not suppose to kinda sit flush with the bottom? looks like you added back most of what you cut off, but it might just be the pic?
