I have 3/4 as much deck and porch space as I do living space. 600 sq feet of it is covered and it still kind of looks run of the mill. I am looking for some cool ideas to make the space better for entertaining or just to aid with seating without blowing a ton of money.

I will try and get a picture or two this afternoon to let you guys know what I am working with. I was thinking of possibly an outdoor shower, but haven't gotten that in depth yet, just looking for ideas and what you guys have done.

Nothing special but we had a plain covered deck out on the back of the house towards the pool. I got rid of the table in the center and turned the outside railing into a bar. Now instead of looking at the center of the table everyone is looking at the pool and enjoying a lot more deck space. All in cost me about $150 including the nails for the nail gun.

You can never go wrong with a stripper pole and a radio

I'm working on a neat little spot outside in between my house and shop to chill at, along with some simple, not so professional landscaping around my shop. Slowly but surely of course. A friend of mine just got 4 of these chairs from wally world to go around his fire pit and on back deck, and I'm gonna buy 4 also if they still have them next time I'm there. They are super comfy and only about $25 a piece. The chair arms are flat so you can sit beer, cell phone, laptop, dinner plate, etc on it. They are durable plastic so easy to clean.

Adams Adirondack Chair, available in multiple colors.

I like that idea. That may be borrowed for my grill area.

I had seen some built in benches but they still focus the attention to the center of the deck.

We love it. Now all of the focus is on the pool and guests and it opened up our deck a lot. Also our grill and fire pit are out in front of the left side of the deck. It's probably the best money I've spent on my home/ backyard. I used 5/4" decking boards for the top and I built it with a 3/4 to 1" lip on the back so things don't get knocked off so easily. It has made a big difference.
