Old buggies and chassis

I know there is a thread about were are they now but this is kinda different. Where do all the old or retired chassis go? Do they get sold to other people that just don't put them back to use or do they get sent for scrap? Just like Wes keen showing up in that old single seater I have seen pics and vids of it and yes it's an old buggy but still is cool. And like Tim Cameron's old single seat pink buggy where is it ? Maybe this is dumb but I've just wondered where or what happens to the old school buggies.

Pink was rolling around NC here somewhere a while back. Last time I saw it, I wanna say it was blue.

I think Cj bynum is driving pink now... it is blue. Its the yardsale buggy from back door shootout.

I saved this one from a barn in Mississippi and its currently being built.....But not a lot is left.

The guy I got it from started to build it and didn't finish as did the two guys before him. It was built in 2004 as a U.R.O.C. front engine single seat comp buggy and taken apart in 2005 and the parts used to build a 2 seater.

Only picture I could find.

So I guess some get saved while others get scrapped or never put back together.

The old pink chassis was torn apart and the parts was used in a new 1 seat chassis. I saw on butt pirate that he mentioned he had the old pink chassis and I asked him about it he said he wanted $1000 for it but the lower belly section was cut out of it and it was 9 hours from me.

I had the ol pink/ol blue and traded it to Nick Sosebee and last I knew it was still being rented out, Travis Lovett's dad drove it once and then it went to the backdoor challenge
driven by Busted Knuckle.

if you are referring to the one bronco buster bought it is still waiting for enough parts to be gathered up to be put back together when he gets everything we gonna fly in and slap that baby back together and we will be :drinkers:

I did not know you had that old Raven chassis now. I have not talked to Brad in a few years and did not know he sold it. When did you get it? Cool old school rig.

What he said. I have started gathering parts but still got to get the money paid back I have in the chassis. We have to get the tons under Psycho Theropy before I can work on the chassis. I am getting there though. Good things take time.

I picked it up July of last year. Like I said not a whole lot left of the original chassis.....just enough to be able to tell if you know.

The original roof panel with stickers will go back on it so that will be the biggest tell tale sign of the old buggy. Pretty sure the guy I bought it from was named Tommy. Brad must have sold it to Tommy who sold it to me? This chassis has gotten around!!!

This is a 2007 smith buggy I bought off of here 3 years ago from lamberts in Chattanooga and brought up here to NY and rebuilt it and been beating on it since , I bought the bare chassis
