Alscott, we briefly met there back in June I think it was. I was in the red/black, turbo/rear steer buggy in the parking lot talking to Vanover.
We'll be checking in at the campground sometime Saturday morning, Friday night is going to be a long one :****:

Glad you were OK!! That's one tough jeep. For all the weight of that thing to land on that one corner....i can't believe the cage didn't get tweaked much if any!

Knew we had to build it tough, since my leg cramps all the time, causing the skinny pedal to stay on da floor.

Can't see it in the pic , but there is a brace right where I landed. Already have the fenders off, grill fastened to frame, and prepping for more tube work.

Probably had a hardcore Chevy guy do that tube work for'ya.....only way it held up!!!

Do you have any pix of what you're wanting/gonna do to the front?

Got a few ideas. Almost would like to incorporate a fox body hood with 6" cowl to clear new powerplant. If I can make it look good.

And NO chevy tubing. :dunno:

It was built in an all Ford garage.

For now just hoop the grill and run tube from cage to hoop. Maybe put a small tube fender on and a stinger. If I can find a cheap hood. If not, it'll come out next spring MORE motor, more tube and automatic.
