Shock tab placement (on man sized axles!)

Most of the shock tabs on the axle end seem to be vertical with the bolt being perpendicular to the axle. I mocked mine up yesterday and it appears it will bind if I use prefabbed tabs. The shocks are angled back like on most bouncer chassis.
So my questions is what is a better solution? Rotate the tabs, so they are pointed at shock mounts on frame or lean them over slightly so they are inline with the angle of the shock.

When I done my air shox I used 2"x2" square tube and the shox with the spacers fit perfectly inside the tube. I just had to clearance it so it wouldn't rub my new shox. I used it top and bottom and it's working good for me.

Mine is 3/8 after I bent pre-made brackets my bolts run with my axle and then with shock hoop so they are opposite of each other so it didn't bind the shock

That's how I'm going to have to do mine. It doesn't matter if they are rocks or tons.
The problem I'm having is the angle of the shock is laid back about 15 Degrees, which cycle s from 10 to 20 degrees between full drop and full bump. That combine with the side to side (axle articulation) I'm having trouble with my lower shock mounts binding.

Mine are mounted like the pic above. I always use 3/8" minimum on shock mounts. I beveled the inside of the tabs on the axle above the shock bolt to get a little more clearance.

Yeah I put way to much thought into it. Went out and made a couple of mock up tabs cycled the suspension made adjustments all is good. I ended up mounting mine like fordcon1. Just leaned the axle bracket over a little to line up with the laid back shock.
On that last pic is the bolt on the axle end running along the same way with the axle? Seems like that would be hard on the shock end when axle articulates. :dunno:
