ok so I will start this off by saying Im no hunter an ive never killed a deer . :****: that being said over the last couple years my hunting buddys have brought me a few deer late in the season after they had their freezers full cool yes .me an my wife have a few cattle (well my wife does) so last year she bought me a 270 rugger .for Christmas an I said cool .an then she explain to me that if we could kill some deer we would not have to kill one of our calf every year an that would put an extra grand in our play money every year .I said cool
we have around 200 acers that we live on an I talked to my buddys an I got a camera an low an behold we have deer on our land ya! (pictures below)
ok an for the problem my ADD afflicted fatass does not like sitting in trees
so ive been working on a fix for me an ive got it working i will not go into complet details but using some apps an some redneck i have figgrd out how to stay in my shop an get a alert an see what is in front of my camra an pull the trigger on remotely on a rigged gun an then go over an get my food
so i ask yall is this legal can i do this ? ,my thinking is its my land i wont be using no bait ,
so what say ya?

Seems like a really cool idea in theory but also seems like a really good way to have a mishap and something other than a deer get shot

well that would be trespassing but from what ive come up with i can see what im shooting

George, I love the idea, but two questions? How will you keep the gun dry & protected from the elements? And, how will you aim it? A vitals or headshot will be the only way to know the deer is gonna die anytime soon....

I hope you can make this work, It would be awesome!

i would like to add that i haven built anything yet . i just know i can . it might be cheaper to just hunt . i looked at some tree stands at a few stores an that ant happening so i am designing me a stand also

Someone give the man some deer meat! I would gladly shoot one and dump it at your property. As long as you keep building kick ass buggies for me to drool over.

I say use a shotgun on a tripod with actuators it would be hard for a deer to handle a rifled slug

If you have property around the shop or yard where it's safe to shoot, then I say bait around it and shoot the damn things while you work. I've killed a bunch of deer in my parents front yard.

What's your doe limit around there? Where my parents live you can kill 3 per DAY. Benton county TN

Some deer hunting operations in Texas do this....they call it deer hunting by remote control. You click the mouse on your computer and it fires the rifle remotely. Plenty of info online if u do a search. I would def check with your local authorities as to the legality of this in your area though.

yes this is correct an some handicap people do it through caged hunts . but they have to pay .from what ive red I don't even have to have a hunting license on my own land

I don't have a problem shooting them im not all teary eyed about it hell I will strangle it if Icould find it .I just got tomuch to do to just be sitting in a tree

George, for rifle hunting, a ground blind is just about as effective as a stand with a whole lot less effort
