Had pictures of this guy past 3 years and hasn't gotten any bigger. I removed him from the herd yesterday afternoon. Taken with bow in Hickory, Kentucky.

Just got lucky and knew a guy. There's so much public land in southern illinois that hindsight, you don't have to join a lease. Just hunt the 1 week to 3rd week in illinois and you'll see bucks.

Sadly my friend it's not my. I had it on camera 5 times and the guy 1 mile south shot it. This is all I have got so far.

I had a big west Texas buck poke around my stand for three days and never got to where I could get a shot, and the last day we were there he was walking up to where I could shoot and a doe came out, he picked up his head up and started chasing her and I never got a shot. My buddy was hunting a mile away and shot him 45 minutes later. He was so tired from chasing he was leaned up against a fence resting. All I shot was a Javelina and a JAckrabbit!

40 degrees with a 25 mph sustained wind and my son decides he needs my jacket to nap until deer show up. It's all good though, I could be at work or something worse!!
