They are kinda expensive, you're going to have to have the crank trigger ass., msd box, and some kind of gutted distributor, and a coil, if you're not running an all out race motor I prob wouldn't bother.

HELL YAH, I've got it on mine and doesn't miss a beat.

Msd crank trigger assembly is around $350 I have a digital 6 box now and msd distributor and blaster 2 coil I was just thinking if there was a noticeable difference from the swap I was thinking about it

Same exact setup I'm running. Set it and forget it. The first time I took off the distributor cap and saw basically nothing inside, I thought something was wrong. molaugh

Imma derail the hell outta this thread :****:

Is your winch mounted behind/on your front axle chasman? Imma have to dig up some pictures of that. Don't remember seeing the fairlead at grayrock

And...what was the name of the boat you ran down here? Dad said your name sounded familiar as hell the other day

Yep, my winch is mounted behind the axle with a plate for the fairlead and controls are on my steering column. There is a full skid plate underneath it to keep it from getting hit. It was that way at Grayrock but was mounted too close to the crank fire trigger and took a beating on the first comp hill. Had to move it over just a bit and now has proper clearance.

As for my boat, it's a Donzi 33Zx named "Wine'd Her Up" after my wife's favorite pass time, drinking stomped grapes.

The regular distributor will not work, a trigger requires a gutted distributor. But if you have a good distributor you prob will not tell a difference.
