why does everyone think their junk is gold?

I thought I could buy one for 3k ish to strip down and build for my wife. Just a grocery getter/light wheeling on 35s doesn't appear to be the case.

I think it is just classic "supply and demand" on the Broncos. There are just not a lot of them left out there.
I have not idea why the prices of other vehicles in general are advertised so high, to many TV shows about haggling over used cars I guess. Oh and Barrett Jackson auctions.

Y'all remember the gayest bronco edition ever. Straight from Brokeback Mountain.

There are plenty out there. Then you will need another 3K in sheet metal to fix it where it isn't a flintstone.

NO SHEEIT, I was helping out a buddy locate one on here and found one with 3" lift and new tires and wheels for $16kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, as in FAWKKKKKKKKKKKK nuff said.

I was in the Bronco biz for a bit. You are right, you buy one you think is good for a steal in a hurry before the guy can change his mind, next thing you know you have a second Bronco showing up in boxes from a UPS truck and your wallet is AfreakinLOT lighter. I've seen UNRESTORED, DRUG OUT OF A FIELD (or salt mine from the looks of it) go for $6k. And it SOLD!!!

Sheeeet. I got mine for a song compared to that price. I would like to get an 11+ axle and try swapping the carrier to the electric locker.

There was an article in the Wall Street Journal saying that Early Broncos were better than gold.
