This was what it was all about, seeing a 9 year old boy, whose dreams were crushed, brought back to life by the Wheeling community/ family that we are. It doesn't get much better than this. His father who already knew about this, was left speechless and was in tears as well as Garrett and his mother. Good things happen to good people. It will forever being on my mind and glad to say I was there and lived a small part of this great event.

Tom, if you happen to read this, God bless you for all you do and the generosity that you show this sport and all the lives you touch. You truly are a gentleman and someone everyone should get to meet sometime in there lives. You stand as a pillar in the wheeling community and an shining example of what it means to be a caring Christian man. Myself and everyone who attended will forever remember what you did for this family on October 10th, 2015. Thank you sir...

I bet the little dude had a smile ear to ear riding up to the hill in a buggy.

He really did. I took pictures of it but my phone says my attachment is too large and won't let me post them. Definitely worth it if someone can size them up and post them up for me. :dunno:

That guy might as well have sold his truggy in the first place. Not like he can ever be seen in it again on the trails now.

No, it was obstacle enough driving all the way from the pavilion to the starting line, in 3 wheel drive. I'm still broke from hitting the bounty hill last time. We did get covered in mud though. Had a blast with Garrett.

It was absolutely awesome to get to meet that little guy. I thought his eyes was going to pop out when we uncovered his new rig. Later on that night I asked him what he thought of his day. He replied "this is the best day of my life". I gave him another hug and told him he would have better days in life than this. I can't say enough about how the offroad community made the little guy feel special.

No. He just thought he was coming to another event. When he got there Saturday morning I talked to him and told him I heard he had a bad day the last time he visited. I then told him I had arranged a ride up the mountain in a buggy and he was so excited. Greg Cary had him a seat, a new helmet, and his name on his buggy and led the drivers up to the race hill with him as co-pilot. He had no clue he was getting his ride back until that night.

That video of him receiving the 4wheeler is literally the best off-roading video I've seen all year. (No offense to BK or Madram.)
