Most likely in the case of a rollover and one gets punctured or supply line gets ripped open and catches fire, you won't be able to get close enough to grab a fire extinguisher because of flames. IMO, I'd move it to a little more accessible area to get to it maybe closer to the cab on the same bar or on the outer vertical bar? I have been involved with a number of equipment fires here at work and that was one of my issues where we mounted them.

Any updates?
Any chance you would offer a slightly longer bottom piece to allow room for a hole top and bottom for flat surface mounting were tubing and clamps are not an option?
Where did you get them pull out pins? I need another one. I tried to force it through the hole. Not good idea.Jduck said:Bumping this back up since I'm cutting another batch this week. PM me if you want to order some.

Exactly which hole were you forcing it in?kmcminn said:Where did you get them pull out pins? I need another one. I tried to force it through the hole. Not good idea.

Ended up drilling out the holes and truing up the inside diameter. It did that where I would not ruin the other pin. Thankfully I ordered two mounts and only had one fire extinguisher.
