I happened across some work being done at the park for the kids and the kids in all of us. They are putting together a short track and a Rock Crawling/Obstacle course for RC cars on the backside of the Bathhouse area. It will be gated to keep out any type of vehicles which would destroy it. And here's some pictures.

It isn't finished, but is open to the public.

We have a RC crawler and 2 go fast cars. The kids love to play with them when we camp. I strap the crawler to the jeep and take it with us. Keeps my boys from getting bored when we are waiting/drinking/eating/fixing.

Re:

Windrock also has a pretty fancy crawler course I use every time I'm there. It's built in the main parking lot by the entrance on a hill side, even has mini windmills on top.

Kel you need to ride over and check out the one we built at Nathans. Its amazing what gets done when your brothers are off on Mondays.

I got bored at work one day.

I really think rc bouncing is so much more fun than rc crawling. I think an rc hill killing course would be more appealing. :stir:

This is just me being jealous. I want one bad!

Ive had a few different ones and currently my favorite one is my MOA comp crawler. I had taken it up a vertical ledge that was seriously 1.5x the wheel base. I have a video but cant find out how to get it off facebook.

This one I had was fun. It was a bouncer style. Liked to go fast instead of crawl.

Here are the the two we currently run.

rc crawler course is something every park should have ! Great idea!

I completely agree. Myself and a few others are going to start building a RC course at Catahoula Recreation Offroad Park this Sunday matter of fact. We have a bounty hill event in April at our Spring Fling and now we are also going to have a couple classes of RC competition to keep people occupied between the full size rig activities.

Re:

I had an axial ridgeline with 4 wheel steer that was kinda fun but i got bored with it and sold it. This course looks like alot of fun

An axial yeti XL is a bad machine, 1/8 scale rock bouncer!! It went up who's your daddy about 3 months ago...after many roll overs at the ledge I might add. Been meaning to check out Nathans killer course

I`ve seen these things here and there and they look fun. Where do you buy them and how much do they run?? I`m sure there`s all kinds of them but what are some good brands for someone just to have to mess around with.

I have been looking at them for over a year just can't swallow the price tag. I like the Axial Wraiths or the new RR10 , Losi Nightcrawler, and a Redcat.

The Axial is the highest, Redcat is the cheapest.
