Do the 9's not scrub on the back? That was my biggest worry and why I didn't even look at them. Badass truck BTW

Please tell me you are driving it home. From Texas or somewhere. All it needs is a battery and a couple 5 gallon gas cans. Where is your sense of adventure :rolf: :rolf:

I've had old vehicles before. I promise, that's what I like. I daily drove a 61 Studebaker wagon for years. Manual steering, manual brakes love it. I know this doesn't make sense to anyone else.

This vehicle won't be used to tow. Too short and I am going to have to take out a bunch of leaves to make it ride worth a ****. Double cab shall be a diesel, I promise.

Ok. I misunderstood. I thought you were actually planning on towing with this. I see where you're going now.

Re:

No sir, I wanna old 40's double cab on a modern chassis to tow with. And yes I know they are custom, not factory double cabs.

We (as a society) used to be tougher than we are now... My grandfather used to tell all sorts of stories about using a truck like this one to pull a trailer with all sorts of stuff on dirt roads when he was young.... My favorite was the story about sleeping on the side of the road and waking up to a mule licking his face....Commercial trucking used to be a whole lot different than it is today.

What we now know CAN'T be done used to be cutting edge and way better than the old way LOL

how about an e350 motor home chassis with the 46 cab on it. I bet that would work out fairly easy being that the frame rails are flat

I ain't gonna lie. I love it. If I could find something like that. I would put a love front axle in it. Cummins nv4500 combo and make that bitch a tow rig. Or hell. Put a roll back bed on it. Long enough. Then again I'm tall as **** and probably wouldn't work. Good meeting ya at Morris bud.

I am thinking something more along the lines of this for a tow rig. But, I will have to sell off my minivan and my F250 to make that happen. I've been scouring the inter webs for a few months now and haven't found anything reasonable with the right options.

I'm just glad I'm not the only Roadkill fan on here........

I am a one man Roadkill on a smaller budget, with no cameras and less of a mechanical skill set.
