Hunter's Pub & Steakhouse. Near Hamilton Ga. Cinder block building. Bring your own drink in a cup of they have beer/wine. You might see Dan Amos the AFLAC CEO or Jeff Foxworthy or me! Ribeye And be sure to get a plate of fried lobster tails The peanut butter pie is the **** too.

Surprised to see this here. One of my favorite places. Make sure you get some pie.

Re:

I don't do anything special, but I usually cook filets when I grill steaks. I lay the filets out on a plate, garlic salt both sides, then pour some dales over them, let them warm til room temp, cook on med-high heat til cooked medium. Sometimes I also use Montreal Steak seasoning, or Sureshot Sid's Gunpowder seasoning for a smokey taste, but I've found the gunpowder seasoning is best on grilled chicken breasts with slap ya mama cajun seasoning.

If you aren't going to marinate them before hand, try cooking the steak from frozen without letting it thaw. I thought complete bs until I tried it.

We usually get ny strips for cooking at home. The wife is picky about lean so it's a good option for us. I marinade with soy sauce and a mixture of Montreal steak and Montreal chicken.

My best steak was at a little hole in the wall joint in Nevada City California called "The Willo Steakhouse" Something about being in the mountains and having a great steak cooked on an open pit in the middle of a restaraunt. Oh yah, you can choose to cook your own on the same grille if you want. :eat: :eat: :eat: :eat: :eat:

I don't have a vagina, so I don't cook. :flipper:

Are ya dealing with some suppressed memories of Uncle touchy and his naked puzzle basement man? Questioning your sexuality lately? It's ok man. You can let that **** go. Real men can cook better than women. It's ok man, Im here for ya. :flipoff1:

I've been to one similar to that in Green Bay, Wi called the Prime Quarter. Big open pit fire in middle of resturant with tons of seasonings beside it. You pick your cut, season it and cook it how you want it. They also have Texas toast and butter so you can grill and snack on while cooking. But if you don't want to they will grill it for you.

One of the best steaks I have had is from a small resturant near East Prairie, Mo. called The Glenn. He only has a few items on the menu but everything is top notch. Concentrates more on quality than a large selection. His shrimp and grits is to die for also :eat:

same deal in Illinois when we worked there. You went to the cooler, picked your steak, grabbed it with tongs, asked for whatever rubs you wanted, marinades, etc, then put it on the bigg ass pit. Unless you wanted someone else to do it. Toast and butter. Was a salad bar in the back room if you were so inclined.

Roswell, Ga

Little Alley Steakhouse

Dry aged, Bone in Ribeye...

Damn, Damn, Damn good steak. They cook it exactly how you order it, every time. All their sides are awesome, my preference is the Brussel Sprouts and Lobster Mac and Cheese.

If you are in this area, you will NOT be disappointed.
