Ok guys I was getting sick of taking two vehicles when me and the family wanted to go riding and camping so I sold my 5th wheel and I have decided to do somthing differant. I was just wondering what some of yall were doing for a good all around setup. I cant really afford a big expensive class A or toy hauler. It has to be somthing that I can use for general camping as well as riding so my wife and kids will still be happy.

I bought a Haulmark 36' goose neck enclosed trailer. I did a basic finish out in the front half. Bed is up over the goose, cabinets in the front area and a cheap hardwood floor back to the fender wells. I can park our Jeep inside no prob, or fit our 2 RZR's inside. Wife has no prob camping inside but would like a window or two for some natural light. It has a roof top heat/AC unit, added a small water tank for a sink. We couldn't swing a full blown toy hauler and we didn't see many options for one that could fit a variety of different vehicles. This trailer was appx. $15k new last year and we have been very pleased with how it works out.

On several trips, we had some rain and we set up a large folding table and every ones camping chairs inside and were able to party in one area all together. I painted the floor with some light gray outdoor deck paint and sealed all my edges really well. After a trip I drag in the water hose and rinse/scrub out the floor and let it run out the back door.

When the trailer is not in use, we usually keep both RZR's inside. They stay clean and out of the way.

25' 14k works killer for me. I can set my camper off and free my trailer up in bout 20 min. Keeps me from having to buy another trailer

I got this @ Christmas & will take it out for its maiden voyage in 2 weeks. Cheap & reliable. You can put in air mattresses, bunk beds, futon or whatever you'd like.
I averaged almost 12 miles per gallon empty on the 10 hour journey home.

For when it rains.

That first pic with the red fj on the back is a friend of mine. It. Was a very nice setup. One downfall is if you go camping without bringing a rig on the back, it's extremely tongue heavy

I have thought about a enclosed or something like Brads but bigger.

Will you be needing running water/toilet or just dry, comfortable sleeping?
I purchased an enclosed trailer, installed beds that attach to the walls when the rig is removed. It's lifechanging. Like getting good seats or suspension.

Re:

I'd think a big advantage of an enclosed is being able to store the buggy in it instead of taking up garage space. You could also keep all your supplies in it so all you have to do is hook and go when it's time to go wheeling.

Better make it nice for Brittney. At Feb Jam Brad let Sarah stay in his while we were at camp now we are building one. :****: I have already got a slide in camper tracked down from a buddy, now just to find a 30ish ft. trailer.

Ronnie Dunsavage has really nice custom toy hauler style setup. I've always been curious what he gave for it but never asked. One day I'd like to have something similar.

I picked up a work & play off Craigslist for $3500 but a bumper pull. Haven't got a chance to use it yet. All the amenities of home. Bathroom,shower,a/c,heat and fridge. Stove but no oven. The garage section is separate and has extra fold out bunks back there. Yes I think being able to leave the roughy in there between wheeling trips will be nice. Also big awning will be nice. I also just sold a big 5th wheel camper to go to this. Seems just as nice, just smaller

$3500??? That's a steal of a deal. How much room is there for a buggy? Just curious
