Seems like there is a good amount of Mustang owners on here. Lets see what everyone is beating on now a days. I see on IG baller Bolton has a few sitting in his driveway. Also gauging interest on what kind of chassis parts you guys are running and or interested in.

All mine are mostly slow-ish.....I'm more of a suspension / turn fast guy. Yes, that means I have no balls.....it doesn't take much skill to take a curve at 120mph without lifting ;)

Re: HL mustang guys and gals.

These are pictures of when I first got it. Bought a used 11' gt.

Since then I have lowered it, wheels are black, stainless works long tubes with x pipe and exhaust (full system). Changed out the rear lower control arms to prevent wheel hop. Air intake. Dyno tune to 410hp to the wheels.

Well maybe one day Pholman will sell you an LS so you can finally try to do that ;-)

Re:

As for chassis parts....I threw the whole Maximum Motorsports catalog at my white 02. Cheap parts and track cars just don't inspire confidence to a driver. They were certainly pricey but they have held up awesome to years of track abuse and a few off track excursions. I think it has a Steeda front bar on it, but it was just an experiment on my part for my driving style. I'm a lil unorthodox on my driving style .....it works, but sometimes I need different parts to achieve what works for me.

My 14 is getting the minimalist treatment. Stock GT500 mufflers...cat deletes....and SCT X4 tuner to fix the cat deletes and firm the shifts up in the auto.

Put some pimpy/heavy 20s in it for looks....off the shelf springs and lower control arm brackets to fix wheel hop.

Good / fun daily driver still...and that's it's job. No more race cars. Too old to care and just want to enjoy street stuff.

He won't let me crossbreed :'(

If I honestly had ALOT of disposable income, I'd love to put Vortech / Paxton on the white car. It's an incredible track car, but it just gets gapped on straights. It is s still a tad heavy, but if I could AT LEAST get 350whp out of it, I could drop the rear end gear back to a 3.55 or so and it would be a lot less violent to drive. I'm currently using a 4.10 to get its ass off the turns and stay in the power band better but when it hits 130mph its a ****in' brick wall. 5th gear doesn't really move the RPM needle, it just gets quieter :(

We have slowly gotten away from building suspension products and more into full on chassis work. But I have all our jigs sitting around collecting dust and was thinking about seeing if there was any interest in some parts. Most parts are 100% Tig welded, there are a few things that get MIG welded just due to time. We try to use as much American made steel as possible in our products. Check us out at https://www.cheperformance.com and on Facebook if it's your thing. You will clearly see it's not ours lol.

Re: HL mustang guys and gals.

I also remember getting a rear tower brace from you guys and you sent 2 right hand thread clevis's when one shoulda been a left.

I had a 2000 GT 5spd. a couple yrs ago. It just had basic bolt on mods like pulleys, throttle body and plenum, cold air intake, off road x pipe, magnaflow magnapack exhaust, bama tunes, 3.90 gears. Lowered a little by cutting 3/4 of a coil off the springs. It was a blast to drive. I regret trading it just about every day!

I'm wanting a 03-04 Terminator in the near future!

I cant even find any pictures of the one I had. 2004 anniversary edition. Had that crimson colored paint job. I miss that car. I had to sell it to get the money for the down payment on part of my house. Sucks having to adult sometimes.

Re: HL mustang guys and gals.

Been building a 90 LX, mainly down to finishing all the small stuff now.

HL mustang guys and gals.

I had a 2017 in my shop Saturday. Did full KW suspension setup. Vortech Supercharger, edelbrock intake, corbeau seats and tires/wheels are next. Will be featured in S3 Magazine. Not even 1k miles on this one yet.
