Trying to get my ol Wagon back in the woods. It'll be a low talent leaf looker. Going to use a Ford 205 and looking into reduction options this morning. Availability and cost will play heavy factors but if any of yall are running a KluneV or aBlackbox etc on a 205 some experience with them would be good. My buddy has a BB and seems to work really well....

Without doing any research on my end whats the price difference in just doing a lomax. Last i heard you could still get a ford 205 kit

I never heard lowmax never made a Ford 205. I know a bunch of people wanted then to.

I think I found my cheap ass decision. NWF Eco Box. Ive got the 241 and a Ferd 205 sitting here. 800 bux and build it myself n save a grip o cash :woody:

Far as I know they never did do the Ford . Even tho thats what we all wanted

I ran a Klune-V 2.7 forever and ever back before the LS craze hit and loved it. The 2.7 reduction gearset is a new process part I believe and very proven/reliable. It is essentially what is on the front of an Atlas 4-speed. If you're set on a reduction box I wouldn't hesitate to run one. I would probably go with NWF, I don't even think the Klune V is around anymore. The owner died quite a few years ago.

I would have bet money when i was trying to get one for mine they offered a ford version and not a chevy.

Econo box to Ford 205 is THE transfer case to have. 1.1, 2.1, 2.72 . 1 and 5.1 strong, heavy but kicks ass.

Agree, options for daze and hella affordable. I emailed em to see availability.

I haven't ran it yet but the NWF titan black box is nice. Shouldn't have to worry about the shaft.

Why thw hell do you need an underdrive. I figured you would go rocks and a manual like your hero

Oh snap, look at the logo machined into the case now.

Very cool

After you get that puppy on the trail don't forget to call kris and tell him how awesome it is. He says all he gets to hear from are new buyers

Keep track of "actual" money spent for this.
