jeep yj trans swap

how big a deal is it to go from a 5 speed behind a 4.0 in a 94 yj to a auto

muddy you are all right mine is missing crank shaft sensor on the other side i have a pict is that the modgul on pass side that controls shifting and the throttle cable on top does it go to intake and when pushed or i mean cable is moved is that for kick down or does it control shifting like on a 700 r 4 i cant find a pict but its a big rount peiece with like 6 wires on pass side

The throttle cable is for line pressure, not a kickdown like the 700.

As was stated above, running my aw4 in full manual mode using the RAdesigns Winters shifter I used a total of 2 wires (solenoids) on the trans. I've got a 3rd run for the TC lockup but I haven't done anything with it yet.
 
well thanks so much for the info i for shure going to run aw4 and dana 300 i hate a 5 speed my feet and legs hurt me a lot and i cant stand the idea of a cluch
