Yeah Rausch is great, been going there for years. They keep opening up new trails.

Well, new hardline is off to a great start. Lol

Yup, somehow I missed the thread about it being down and wondered why I couldn't get on earlier and now it looks very squarish. Guess we'll see how it goes or doesn't.

when I posted that. There was an ad on here for cybersex with a pic of a lady and her roast beef sammich.

Been on here a while, but figured I would post up to introduce myself. Dan from Toledo, OH living in Houston for the last 7years. Been into off-roading everything from dirtbikes, four wheelers and jeeps for years. Got tired of worrying about glass and body panels getting tore up so a couple years ago I picked up an unfinished Jimmy Smith Chassis from a guy in MO. His wife was tired of it sitting, so I got it two weeks before hurricane Harvey and then it sat in my garage for 4 months while I helped a friend fix their house. Finished it in Nov of '18 and drove it til July of this year to make sure we had all the bugs worked out before powdercoat. Got it back together in late August (yah, 7 weeks for teardown, powdercoat and reassembly!). Here's the specs...
2017 Jimmy Smith Chassis
385 Stroker/Fitech FI/TH350/Atlas 4sp
F/R Steer Rockwells w/Lockers/43" Stickies on Stazworks Double Beadlocks
18" Swayaways - wishing I had coilovers - maybe next year when the bleeding stops from building this thing.

Sweet rig

It's just another YJ, but a capable one.... hopefully.
I've been creeping in the shadows for little over a year now. Finally finished my build so now I have something to post. I bought my jeep 3 years ago and a couple of months after I bought it I found out me and my wife were gonna have a second kid, I'm sure none of y'all have had that happen. Anyway it sat in the basement for almost 2 years with nothing being done to it, its ready for some trails now though.

Specs:
- 92 YJ with stock 4.0 and 5 speed trans
- NP231 w/ tera-low 4:1 kit and SYE
- 4 linked front D60, 5:38 gears welded, full hydro steering, 2.5"/14" travel air shocks
- 4 linked rear D60, 5:38 gears spool, 35 spline Yukon shafts, disc brakes, 2.5"/16" travel air shocks
- 7/8" heims
- 40x17 tsl's
- WB 117"

That's the talking points, there are some other bolt on crap that doesn't matter. Every tab, truss, shock tower on it was made by me. It ain't perfect but it works.... so far. No project is ever finished so more upgrades to come.
