Pumpkin said:We have people park and camp at AOP but go ride the cove also. They usually ride the cove one day and the park the next.
I spoke with Trail Training Center. We are leaving tomorrow after work and headed up and camping riding all day Saturday.
Got there around 7pm Friday. Set up camp. Drank a few too many beers. A friend of mine had way too many, slept on his trailer pissed his bed/pants/trailer.. Had a good time. Hope to make it back before it gets cold.
They are doing a clean up ride there this weekend, some land owners are getting tired of trash and the amount of traffic across their private property. This is what happens when maps get sold or people ride there one time and think they know everything about it. Then bring a lot of friends back and they all get lost. I have close friends that live all over that mountain. The best way to learn where to go and where not to go, is to go do the clean up rides. Meet locals and show them that you care about the place.
Good to know there. Where are they meeting and what time?
Thinking about making a trip maybe as soon as this Saturday (10-3) but probably a little later in October. Is there any other interest in trying to get out there and do a little riding?
My wife's cousin is coming from Dallas with a few of their friends. We are planning on riding the Cove Wednesday (3-10) Since Trials Training Center is closed, is there anywhere else to park truck/trailer? Also, does anyone have a pin to the cave? I have only been out there a handful of times. Thanks!
They're closed Monday-Wednesday.There's a facebook group called Chattanooga offroad monthly meet and they love the cove post up there. Why is the trials closed? I thought i saw something where they were raising their prices or something earlier this week.
They're closed Monday-Wednesday.
