Well, I'd say just cut the fenderwells out some like the 2nd pic and rock on! I would still bob it a little, and a dove tail wouldn't hurt, but at least a little bob.

Hmm, I didn't really think about the gas tank being right there. Guess you could still bob it a little. Personally, I just think full size trucks look better with the original bed on them.

Probably gonna trim the wheel well and do a different bumper . That's factory springs without the block.

Since your going with the cut; put the gas tank in the bed, and bob it to remove that overhang. Keep the marker light, tail lights and stock bumper, just pull them forward until the bumper ends are just behind your wheel cut. Maybe even raise that bumper up a little to improve the departure angle a little. Your rear spring hangers will be your limiting factor in moving things forward Im guessing.
