Dang good weekend of riding. We had a hell of a group cruising through the woods on Saturday. Weather was perfect. I've not heard the kids laughing so hard in a long time. And I baptized all of us with a wide open 2nd gear assault on a mud hole.
Thanks to @ridered3 for letting us crash in the camper again.

It was good to meet @1tonrenegade in person also.. Looking forward to riding with ya'll some time in the future.

Quick recap.

Rolled in around lunchtime Friday and immediately got a low fly over from the planes. @Mattman347 was having fun installing gears in the Explorer. Got everything setup and headed up to hit some trails. Had some various carnage (forgotten coil spring retainers on the red/black buggy; broken rear driveshaft on the black 4Runner; broken front driveshaft on the Roxy Ranger; and ran out of gas in the Explorer, so the first trail of the day took us around 3 hours start to finish. Some stayed around camp and others went night riding. Doubler in the Roxy Ranger created some new inspection holes, but made it back to camp.

Saturday morning black 4Runner was being repaired; Roxy Ranger was having doubler surgery; and everyone else was moving a bit slow. Went out to the far left side of park (end of Trail 1 not over in the 50's left side) and watched the kids and a couple of rigs play on the slab. Went back to camp for lunch/various small repairs and went back out to cover some ground on the blue trails. Ended up hitting a bunch of blues from the middle of the park, down to the lower far right side, back to the upper right hand side of the park, back across to George Winter, and then back to camp in three hours. Some stayed out riding until late, while others stayed around camp.

Sunday morning a rain and wind storm were supposed to hit so everyone was up and moving pretty early to at least get on the road before that as opposed to loading in the rain and wind.

Did ya'll keep track of what trails we hit? That was hands down the most trails we have ever consecutively done at AOP.

The three hour afternoon ride was something like 1 > 3 > 28 > 4 > JW1 > 17 > 94 > 11 > 34 > 11 > 3 > 2 > 98> 6 > 3 > 5 > 17 > 3 > 92 > 93 > 3 > 90 > 14 > 30 > JW4 > 1 > George Winter (GWT) > 1 > Camp +/- a few trails.

I think I saw you beating on your rig on Granny Templeton trail Friday night. Good trail.
Tried to put a beat down on it was all good till tire came off the bead an had a cut in side wall. After fixing broke winch rope a few times finally got back to camp around 4ish AM! Lol Great time for sure.
