I think it's moreso that they are basically brand new. A collision repair shop could probably make money on those.Maybe I'm a little out of touch but doesn't this seem higher than giraffe *****? Used to be able to get a matched 60/14bolt for grand (I know, I know, those days are long gone). I also think it's kind of a "thing" to keep your built axles (like a $10k Dynatrac 44 crate axle) and swap stockers back in to trade in your Jeep every 2-3 years and get a new one.
Super duty Dana 60s are still only a few hundred and the pull a parts are full of rear axles
